We finally got to play Crash Mansion! Very exciting. We are very grateful that we had such a strong turnout despite the late set time, and that everyone seemed to have such a good time. Big thanks to Jeremy Kagan at New York Underbelly for putting the whole thing together and for letting us bring the rock. I think we will be coming back to Crash Mansion in March or April – stay tuned for details.
The only complication, if you will, is that we obviously billed the show as our iTunes release party, and as of today, the new album Moths to the Flame is still not up on iTunes. We are continuing to follow up and we believe it should be available in the next week or so, hopefully sooner rather than later. We will certainly keep you posted on that.
Overall the show was a huge success though. We were so excited that we might have rushed the songs a little more than normal, but no one seemed to mind too much. It was our first time playing the song Moths to live, as well as the first time playing Colossus and Interlude with Andrew. Colossus was definitely one of the highlights. It seemed to resonate with the crowd.
Random line of the evening: Jeremy (walking to the venue after dinner, on the phone with someone from BMG who said he owes the $120) – “OK, you’re starting to make me angry. I’m going to hang up the phone now.” *click*
Thank you so much to everyone who came out. We feel loved and we hope you do too.
